About

When one is seeking recovery from an illness, an injury or at a time in one's life when the very roots of health and well being have been shaken, this is a time to draw upon the skillful and effective medical interventions found throughout many cultures.

Because of my many years of training and clinical experience in multiple health fields, my understanding of how to recover health is comprehensive. This allows me to guide patients with a depth of understanding that avoids the pitfall of approaching illness with a fixed view of one cure fits all. By working together with western medicine and science, Oriental Medicine significantly augments the healing process when the patient includes acupuncture, body-mind disciplines, food therapy and herbs to fortify, bolster and expedite the recovery of their health.

Treatment Philosophy

To restore your health and promote recovery from illness or injury, I complete a thorough evaluation of your current state of health and illness with a comprehensive oriental medicine evaluation that clarifies where your strengths, weaknesses and imbalances are. By carefully listening to you and your health concerns, an in depth, personalized treatment plan is created. This is done in part through a pulse diagnosis and an oriental medical abdominal exam. I then combine acupuncture with herbal medicines, when necessary, whole food nutritional suggestions and positive lifestyle changes to help you return well-being and vitality. By working together, your health and well being can be restored.
